Research
We offer a range of research studies aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of benign and malignant brain tumour.
I currently lead on the following active human research studies:
Understanding Glioma Invasion in the Human Brain
High-throughput mapping of neural circuitry and gene expression in the human brain to elucidate basic neurological mechanisms
Hyperspectral imaging as a novel method of quantifying brain tumour invasion
I also offer recruitment to a range of other clinical trials including:
The INFORM Study (Liquid biopsy biomarker analysis for early diagnosis and non-invasive monitoring of brain tumours)
CITADEL-123. A Phase I clinical trial to assess the activity of I-123 Poly Adenosine Diphosphate Ribose Polymerase I inhibitor (123I-ATT001) directly administered in subjects with relapsed glioblastoma.
The PEACE (Posthumous Evaluation of Advanced Cancer Environment) Study
The cure for cancer requires new discoveries and insights. To learn more about the novel research we undertake at the Brain Cancer Research Unit, UCL Cancer Institute, UCL - please see here:
